What to Stream This July: 15+ New Programs You Have to Watch
The weather this summer might be cooler than we're used to in SoCal, but fear not! We're heating up this July with four new and returning dramas coming to KCET! New seasons of "Luna & Sophie," "Before We Die" and "Hope Street," as well as the highly anticipated Season 9 of "Doc Martin," will all be available to stream for free starting this month.
Also, look forward to the "7th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival UK Honours," in a celebration of the best of U.K. and Irish talent in film and television.

Saturday, July 1
POV: After Sherman – 10 p.m.
Filmmaker Jon-Sesrie Goff returns to the coastal South Carolina land that his family purchased after emancipation. His desire to explore his Gullah/Geechee roots leads to a poetic investigation of Black inheritance, trauma, and generational wisdom, amidst the tensions that have shaped American history. Watch Now.

Doc Martin (Season 9) – Thursdays, 8 p.m.
In Season 9, Martin Clunes is back as the titular Doc Martin aka Dr. Martin Ellingham and all regular members of the cast will be reprising their roles. Martin's career hangs in the balance as he faces scrutiny from the General Medical Council following complaints about his approach to patients. Watch Now.
Hope Street (New Season) – Thursdays, 9 p.m.
Following his brush with death, Finn (Ciarán McMenamin) is a haunted man but in fierce denial that he is anything other than fine; trustworthy Sergeant Marlene Pettigrew (Kerri Quinn) becomes acting Inspector in his stead. The Port Devine station is joined by a new detective, Al Quinn (Stephen Hagan), who is a laid-back breath of fresh air – until his willful daughter turns up and plunges him into a moral and ethical dilemma.
