Arroyo Seco Confluence

The Arroyo Seco watershed runs all the way from the San Gabriel Mountains through Pasadena, spilling into the Los Angeles River near downtown L.A. Many historians and ecologists consider this confluence to be the center of the city's history and evolution. Today it is marked forlornly by a chain link fence and a makeshift homeless shelter.
