Dave and Chris explore the Toiyabe Range along the Gold Venture Loop. The view from the top is remarkable, as is the beauty of Birch Creek Canyon. Next it’s west on Highway 50 to make a stop at Middlegate, the former Pony Express stop. After a night in Fallon, they visit Hidden Cave along with fascinating petroglyphs and exploration of an ancient rock shelter. The trip ends at Buckland Station.
