PBS SoCal, Long Beach Community Action Partnership, and PADNET teamed up to train high school student, Maria Tejeda, to produce, direct, and edit an American Graduate Champion video, recognizing a positive role model in her life. Maria has honored Maria Peñaloza as her American Graduate Champion, a mariachi musician and violin teacher, for her passion and dedication to the art of music.
