Reporter Roundup: Homeless Count, Gyms Reopening
On the June 12 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters have the latest on L.A.’s homeless count, what businesses are reopening and details on a nursing home evacuation.
KPCC’s Jackie Fortier reports All 63 residents of the Golden Cross Health Care Facility in Pasadena were evacuated to other area nursing homes after authorities received a tip about substandard conditions.
Los Angeles’ homeless population increased from last year according to just released statistics. Reporter Matt Tinoco notes the senior homeless population is once again on the rise.
Many businesses were allowed to reopen today and KPCC’s Emily Guerin explains what rules they must follow.
