Some Los Angeles area hospitals have resumed scheduling medically necessary surgeries but do so during a pandemic is complex, reports Elly Yu.
According to Los Angeles County’s Department of Public Health, the childhood immunization rate here was down more than 50 percent in April compared to last year, according to KPCC’s Marina Dale.
