Two Los Angeles County Sherriff’s deputies were shot by an unidentified person at a Metro station in Compton over the weekend. Frank Stoltze shares the latest details.
KPCC reporter Josie Huang was arrested Saturday night while covering the shooting. Deputies threw Huang to the ground and arrested her for allegedly obstructing an officer and failing to identify herself. Both claims are false, according to KPCC/LAist Executive Editor Megan Garvey.
LAUSD is ramping up its plans to test staff and students for COVID-19. Kyle Stokes reports on how testing and contact tracing has kicked off with the first 5,500 employees who volunteered.
