How Americans marked Memorial Day amid eased restrictions

This Memorial Day has been both a day of remembrance and one of hope. The lifting of pandemic restrictions saw a resumption of major public events, and a return to time-honored observances as President Joe Biden laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
