Track Was Like Foster Care

Growing up in an unsafe household, Emaryne was in and out of foster care from the age of five. She excelled through high school and later joined the track and field team at Indiana Institute of Technology (IIT). Today, she is pursuing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy degree at Cal State Dominguez Hills and works as a Behavior Therapist at Peace4Kids.
