Erastus Corning Family Grave
The Cornings own the largest family plot in the entire cemetery, situated atop the high ground of a long, sloping hillside with views across the Hudson River. This is the final resting place for five generations, including Erastus Corning 2nd (1909-1983), the 11-term mayor of Albany and, at the time of his death, the longest-tenured mayor of any city in America.
