The B-52's Kate Pierson says "Fanny was the first band I saw where women were playing guitar. They were great!" The Go Go's Kathy Valentine gives kudos to other Fanny bandmates, and John Sebastian of Lovin' Spoonful shares how bassist Jean Millington was the first woman player he saw who had "stink face" when "playing one of those vicious bass lines."
