Eva's Garden

“The human mind is like a garden. If you plant flowers in it, weeds will not grow.” More than 500 area school children, Indiana First Lady Janet Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett dedicated a new Eva Kor Peace Garden at Newfields Sept. 17. The garden is to be a permanent exhibit that honors the Holocaust survivor’s worldwide efforts to promote peace, healing and forgiveness.
