Seeking Health Equity in Richmond

This was a video created by Angelica Delgado, who was an intern with the hub during the summers of 2014 and 2015. Her video documented her experience working in each area of the hub, but also reflected on her perspective as a native Richmond resident. She captured the work of each action team and how we were working to connect with the residents and partners to build a stronger community. Angelica narrates the video which includes footage of our previous office in North Richmond, still photos from meetings and presentations, and some footage from other community events during her time with the hub.

The Power of Stories is an archive of projects submitted every year to Building Healthy Communities (BHC) Statewide Convening. It showcases work created throughout California highlighting the power of individual and collective efforts to promote health and demonstrates how stories have the power to re-imagine and transform our communities.
