This clip is from the Nov. 17, 2021 broadcast. The House voted on a resolution to censure Congressmember Paul Gosar and strip him of his two committee assignments later that day.
"Democracy Now!" speaks with Jennifer Gosar, the youngest sister of far-right Arizona Congressmember Paul Gosar, who faces censure in a House vote today for posting an animated video on social media that features him murdering Congressmember Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and attacking President Biden with swords. Gosar will be required to stand in the well of the House while the resolution is read. His colleagues will also vote to strip him of his assignments on the Committee on Oversight and Reform, alongside Ocasio-Cortez, and the Committee on Natural Resources. "He's continuing to sing to that white supremacist base that he fundraises from," says Jennifer Gosar, who has previously described him as a "sociopath."
