New Characters

Executive Producer Pippa Harris introduces the new characters of Season 4: Nurse Barbara Gilbert and Nurse Phyllis Crane. Barbara, a daughter of a clergyman, is slightly neurotic and naive, but goes through a big journey throughout Season 4. Phyllis, a force of nature, comes in with new ideas and puts a lot of her energy into being a better midwife and educating the younger midwives.
