One school that's challenging the current model of cafeteria food is Roosevelt Middle School in San Francisco. They're experimenting with new ways to engage students during the lunch period with their pilot project "The Future Dining Experience." They get creative too, tackling the challenge of getting kids to choose healthier options, adapting to the way many of them eat at home, and addressing issues of social justice.
