Broken Bread
A Food Truck That Converts Food Waste Into Nutritious Meals
About 40% of the food produced in this country ends up in the garbage, while millions of Americans go hungry. Some organizations, including Bracken's Kitchen, are taking food donations and repurposing them into healthy meals for those who need it most. Partnering with Chefs to End Hunger, an organization collecting leftover food from hotels and restaurants, Bracken's diverts food from landfills by converting it into healthy meals delivered by the Bracken's food truck to needy communities throughout Orange County.
