Neighborhoods Day
For the past 15 years, the nonprofit organization Arise Detroit has mobilized hundreds of groups and thousands of volunteers for a city-wide event called “Neighborhoods Day” on the first Saturday in August. Even in the midst of the pandemic, Arise Detroit has been able to keep this massive community service day alive by encouraging covid safety precautions for participants.
