Russia Stalls Navalny’s Opposition
As President Biden gets ready to meet Vladimir Putin in Geneva, Russia has all but liquidated Alexey Navalny’s opposition movement this week. A Moscow court designated the two organisations linked to the Kremlin critic as “extremist” groups, forcing them to shut down-- a charge they deny. Vladimir Ashurkov, the Executive Director of Navalny’s anti-corruption foundation, weighs in.
