Fmr US Amb to Israel: Judicial Reform Compromise “Difficult"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, having paused his controversial plan to overhaul Israel’s independent judiciary, claims the country will overcome what he calls a “great debate.” Protesters are still gathering, with the bills set to return to parliament next month if no compromise is reached.
