Set in rural New South Wales in the 1950s, the Australian series follows Sarah Adams (Marta Dusseldorp), who has returned to Australia after 20 years abroad to start a new life and ends up clashing with the matriarch of a wealthy ranching family, Elizabeth Bligh (Noni Hazlehurst).
