Variety Announces The "Variety Studio: Actors on Actors"

LOS ANGELES, Calif., November, 2014 – Variety and PBS SoCaL present the Variety Studio: Actors on Actors, the sixth installment of Variety’s awards season video series, to film on November 8th and 9th in Hollywood. Following nearly a decade of successful events throughout the film and television awards seasons and at festivals around the globe, the Variety Studio: Actors on Actors edition will bring to life Variety’s longstanding Actors on Actors editorial print feature, with one-on-one on-air conversations with today’s top actors and actresses in discussion with one another about their craft, films and mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work.

Variety has partnered with PBS SoCaL, PBS for Greater Los Angeles, for the premiere launch of the project and will televise four episodes of the Variety Studio: Actors on Actors. The first episode will premiere on December 21 at 7:00pm, with subsequent episodes airing on Sunday, December 28 at 6:00pm and 7:00pm, and on January 4, 2015 at 7:00pm on PBS SoCaL. The videos will also stream on Variety.com beginning November 18. The Variety Studio: Actors on Actors will also be aired by WNET in New York and be distributed to PBS stations around the country in January. Check local listings.
