New Documentary "Reinventing Cuba" Airing Sept. 23 On KCET and Link TV Looks To The Future Of Cuba As Diplomatic Ties With The US Are Restored

BURBANK, Calif. - Sept. 10, 2015 - KCETLink Media Group, a leading national independent, non-profit, public broadcast and digital network, will broadcast three compelling documentaries throughout September highlighting the Hispanic community with topics ranging from religion, art and sports to human migration, biotechnology and entrepreneurship. These thought-provoking documentaries examine the influence of the Hispanic community on history, culture and traditions that affect everyone.
Beginning Sept.16, an online Hispanic Heritage Month hub on KCET.org will feature the selected programming as well as a series of articles, news stories and video segments about the Hispanic arts community, history of the Hispanic community and ongoing social issues in the community.

ADELANTE is a documentary about St. Patrick's Church in Norristown, PA where Mexican immigrants revitalized a dilapidated Irish-Catholic church.
REINVENTING CUBA (Part of LINK VOICES)
Wednesday, September 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on KCET in Southern California and Link TV nationwide (DirecTV Channel 375 and Dish Network Channel 9410)
This documentary delves into baseball, art, entrepreneurship, healthcare and medicine in Cuba. The film is part of LINK VOICES, the weekly series of diverse, provocative documentaries that inform, inspire and challenge viewers to impact change.
