There is a tranquility that radiates throughout the city after-hours that can be both beautiful and lonely. Places that are normally bustling with people stand uninhabited, creating a surreal landscape that most never see.
NW Corner of E. 5th Street & Spring Street
Downtown Los Angeles is a complex place where people from all walks of life cross paths and sometimes collide. The spaces featured in this photo essay highlight areas where people have died after interactions with the police.
