Emmarie Huetteman, California Healthline

Emmarie Huetteman, Correspondent, covers some of the biggest issues at the intersection of federal health policy and politics, including surprise medical bills, drug prices, insurance coverage, and maternal health. She has reported on the federal government for more than a decade, most recently covering Congress for The New York Times. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Emmarie also holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she worked on an award-winning project on the national security implications of climate change.
