Debbi Converse was raised in Southern California. After graduating with her Master's degree in Communications from Ohio University, she returned to Los Angeles to continue working in public broadcasting at KCET. An avid reader, Converse travels the world during her work breaks and hikes during her off time - always with something to read in her backpack.
