Citlalli Chávez is a Project Coordinator for The Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) and primarily focuses on connecting community members and youth to the arts and cultural programming while connecting this work to local organizing efforts. Her passion for organizing communities through culture was awakened at El Centro Cultural de Mexico based in Santa Ana. Previously, Chávez was a labor organizer and has been active within the immigrant's rights movement throughout her life. In addition to cultural program coordination, Chávez is currently coordinating communications efforts at the UCLA Downtown Labor Center.
