Carla Macal
Carla Macal is from Guatemala but was raised in East Los Angeles. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Geography at the University of Oregon. She is the creator of Ixoq Arte, a natural body care product line and herbalist project meant to connect with her ancestral Maya traditions.
