Amy Werbel, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)

Professor of the History of Art at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Amy Werbel is the author of numerous articles and two academic books: Lust on Trial: Censorship and the Rise of American Obscenity in the Age of Anthony Comstock (Columbia University Press, 2018), and Thomas Eakins: Art, Medicine, and Sexuality in 19th Century Philadelphia (Yale University Press, 2007). She served as Fulbright Scholar to the United Kingdom, 2019-2020, and Fulbright Scholar to China, 2011-2012.
