In 1965, Filipino farmworkers led by Larry Itliong and Philip Veracruz organized a grape worker's strike in California's Central Valley. Joining with Dolores Huertaand Cesar Chavez, they formed the United Farm Workers. Filipino American rapper Ruby Ibarra narrates how Filipino-Latino solidarity was born in the fields and sparked a global labor movement whose impact reverberates to this very day.
