How Ooey-Gooey Vegan Cinnamon Rolls Bring People Together
This article is presented in partnership with the Natural History Museum's "Kneaded: L.A. Bread Stories," a project that celebrates L.A. history, heritage and communities through the lens of bread.
Justine Hernandez of Just What I Kneaded was inspired to make indulgent and delicious cinnamon rolls from her grandmother’s cinnamon bread recipe. Her memories of baking with her family became the foundation for the love and intentionality she pours into the vegan bakery located in Frogtown, Los Angeles. Justine was born and raised in L.A. and firmly believes that bread is unpretentious and for everyone.
