The Best Almonds in Southern California

Did you know that 80 percent of the world's almonds are grown in California? That's according to the Almond Board of California, and we tend to believe them -- almonds are absolutely all over the place in the restaurants of our fair state. Since February 16th is National Almond Day, we'll make a point to eat some today. Below are some of our favorite almond preparations around town. What almond treats have tantalized your tastebuds? Let us know in the comments!
