This cocktail is similar to a blackberry smash, but it's fortified with dry rosé wine. It could be considered a julep of sorts, although it's made without the usual sugar syrup. I'm not sure you could get away with calling it sangria. It's a mixed-up, delicious concoction, ideal for riffing on and serving all summer long.

Summer in the City
Serves 1

2 thin lime slices
3 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
3 - 4 blackberries
½ ounce gin
2 ounces dry rosé wine

In a small glass, muddle the lime, mint, and blackberries. Pour in the gin and rosé, then swizzle to mix. Add enough crushed ice to fill the glass. Garnish with mint, and serve.
