Screening and Panel Discussion of 'Outside the Lyrics' Presented by Loyola Marymount University Dance

A screening and panel discussion of PBS SoCal produced series "Outside the Lyrics" was held at Loyola Marymount University on March 6, 2024. Following the screening of the episode "Krump," host of the series Dr. Taj Frazier moderated a panel conversation with Hip-hop dance legend and "Queen of Krump" Marquisa "Miss Prissy" McCray, PBS SoCal producer Jaime Morgan Muñoz and a LMU dance student to discuss how the craze developed in South L.A. transformed popular dance and is now shaping dance curriculum today.
