A star from the heart-shaped constellation has landed in the Pinkerton backyard! Pinkalicious and Peter are excited to have their very own star, until it starts to dim. Will they be able to return the star to its friends in the night sky?

ACTIVITY: Look at the Moon! Journaling Project
So many of your child's favorite characters enjoyed looking at the night sky in today's episodes and your child can too with this activity to observe the most visible object in our night sky, the moon. Keep a Moon Journal to track different shapes and phases and ask questions about the patterns your child sees along the way. Can you predict the phase that will appear the next night?

ACTIVITY: Sky Patterns: Sun, Moon, and Stars
Why stop at the moon when you can explore the future appearances of the sun, moon and stars? This activity and animation will help your child see the changing appearance or apparent movement of these objects.
ACTIVITY: Track Your Daily Weather
If watching the night sky becomes challenging on rainy nights, ask your child if they're curious about tracking the weather as well. Download this Nature Cat calendar for your child to draw the weather for each day and find patterns every week.
