Upper Arroyo/Hahamongna Watershed Park
Nestled between the angeles national forest and Devil's Gate Dam in Pasadena, the 1300 acre Hahamongna Watershed Park serves as the stream drainage of the Arroyo Seco as it exits the San Gabriel Mountains and flows south through Pasadena, South Pasadena, and Highland Park to the L.A. River.

Originally the site of a Hahamongna settlement, this vast open space is a rare area where the mountainous watershed meets the urban plain and offers beautiful unobstructed views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Situated next to the world famous Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the watershed offers prime oak woodland and five unique habitat zones. Visit this park to take an easy walk on its interconnected system of hiking trails, enjoy lunch at one of the many picnic facilities or kick a ball around on the multi-purpose playing field. There is also equestrian access to Arroyo Seco trails in the watershed (to have access to equestrian facilities and equipment in the park, consider becoming a member of the Rose Bowl Riders).
If you want to try something new, check out the popular 18-hole disc golf course, the world's first permanent disc golf course.
