50-Year Legacy of Self Help Graphics Honored in Wearable Paper Art

Self Help Graphics celebrated 50 years of printmaking, community art and social justice at the Paper Fashion Gala biennial on May 20. Artists designed wearable paper art inspired by prints from Self Help Graphic's vast archive of prints. Meet legacy artist Consuelo Flores who took inspiration from Pat Gomez's 1991 print "War Stories" and Marissa Magdalena Sykes who took inspiration from Shizu Saldamando's 2008 print "Class Notes: A.K.A. What I Learned in Art School."
